“Mike" is a 1998 Supreme Champion POA Gelding, started by Stacy Irwin of KAN WIN POA's and out of Keegan Performance Horses. He began his show career on the rail, proving to be a talented and versatile performance horse. Shown by Sarah Neikirk, Mike became successful from 2001 through 2004 with State, Regional, and World Championships in Western Pleasure, HUS, Trail, Halter, and Timed Events. Retiring Mike from the rail, Sarah re-focused Mike’s skills in 2005 on Reining, training under the guidance of Jeff Evenson Performance Horses. Again, Mike demonstrated his all-around capabilities in 2006, winning the 2006 Western Classic Reining, and 2006 International Senior Reining Championships. In 2007, for Sarah’s last year as a youth, Mike was again under the guidance of Evenson Performance Horses. Sarah and Mike finished their show career together by again winning the International Senior Reining Championship.

"Rocky" is a 2000 Supreme Champion POA Gelding, started by Jenny Kahle of Mountain Creek Ranch in Valley View, TX. He has been under the guidance of DeForest Quarter Horses (2004 show season), Shawn Church Performance Horses (2005 show season) and Jeff Evenson Performance Horses (2006 show season). Shown by Sarah Neikirk, Rocky is a multiple State, Regional, World, and International Champion in Halter, Showmanship, HUS, Western Riding, Reining, and Timed Events. Highlights of Sarah and Rocky’s show career together include 2005 two time Res. International Champion, 2006 Res. International Champion and Res. 13-18 Highpoint, 2007 three time International Champion, Medium Gelding Stakes Winner, and 13-18 Highpoint Champion.

Tess is a 1987 ROM Champion POA Mare, started by Sarah Neikirk, and has been shown by Sarah Neikirk and Tyler Neikirk under the guidance of Allisa Sam, Trisha Spencer, and Julia Kubacheck. Tess is a multiple State, Regional, and World Champion; while her speed and Showmanship skills have earned two Western Riding and two Showmanship World Championships, Tess also excels with her 3'6" jump, earning two World Jumping Championships. At twenty, Tess has retired from long-distance show travel, and is currently being shown by Tyler Neikirk in Leadline; watch for them in 2007 as the Leadline team to beat in the Northwest.

Looking for a winner? Look no further. Velvet is a 1997 double-registered AQHA / Breeding Stock Paint Mare. Started by Paula Quigley trained under the guidance of Victoria Knudson. She is a fancy and correct mover, very deep in the hocks with incredible extension, with a fabulous jog and a lope to die for. She excels in Halter, Showmanship, HUS, Western Pleasure, StockSeat Eq., and English Eq., and is showing great progress in Reining, Jumping, and Timed Events. Velvet is a multiple State and Regional Champion, currently being shown by Victoria, Cassie, and Ally Knudson, and Sarah Neikirk. Velvet is unbeatable in Showmanship, earning a Grand or Reserve Championship in every Quarter Horse/B.S. Paint Halter class she has shown in! Excellent in All-Around, including Equitation patterns, Pleasure, Trail, and Hunter Hack. Velvet has also been completely sound on advanced trails is good with all levels of riders, is dog friendly (curious but non spooky), has absolutely no vices, and is 100% sound with all shots and shoeing up to date on. This mare can do it all; she is performance-deluxe, does speed events and enjoys it without getting hot. Show her on Saturday and Game her right afterwards; this is the perfect mare for the youth or amateur who is ready to win.

"Bailey" is a 1992 AQHA Mare, she stands at 15.1 hands. Bailey has a HUGE, gorgeous, natural tail. Has always been sound, current (June) clean x-rays of front feet, no 'habits' or vices. Bailey is also a no non-sense broodmare, but a fantastic Mom; very easy going and good in a herd situation. She had her first foal in 2003, a GORGEOUS 3 x registered chocolate palomino colt, futurity money earner by Coo Obvious AQHA/APHA. Bailey has been consistently trained and handled by Kelly Shea, and could be ready in a short time to head back to the show ring to win for another youth, amateur, or novice competitor, and would make a world class walk-jog and showmanship horse.

“Bandit" is a talented 2001 paint gelding owned by Laura Pongratz and shown by Danielle Pongratz, under the guidance of Sarah Neikirk. Bandit has retired from his successful show career as a halter horse and is now showing his versatility on the rail. Some of Bandit's most recent accomplishments include the 2006 CCEHC Fair Junior Bareback Equitation Champion, 2007 CCEHC Fair Junior Horsemanship, Hunt Seat Equitation, and Bareback Champion. Watch for Danielle and Bandit in their first Intermediate year together in 2008!

“Ace" is a 2002 APHA gelding owned by Zane White, currently being shown by Sarah Neikirk. Gorgeous, beautiful mover, sweepy long trot and lopes deep from behind. Very, very, quiet and sound, lots of personality, loves attention, great temperament, no vices and impeccable training. Ace won his junior HUS class in his first show under saddle. He excels in HUS, has experience in showmanship, hunt seat, jumping…or you can ride him on the trails or just down the road. Offered for sale as owner has sadly decided not to show, and knows Ace is too fine a horse not to be in the show ring. This horse has unlimited potential, will give his heart to do what you ask of him, is capable of being shown at APHA/PtHA shows, and is ready to start winning with his new owner.

“Prada” is a 2007 POA filly sired by Zip N Gold and out of Pal Masquerade (full sister to Pal Serenade). Prada is already showing her success in the show ring winning the 2007 International Weanling Fillies Championship and the Texas Weanling Filly Futurity Championship. Some of Prada’s siblings include, full sister Pal Malibu (winner of the 2006 Select Sire Weanling Filly Futurity), half brother JKB Zip N GoGo (International Champion) and many more. Prada has some big shoes to fill and we look forward to seeing her live up to our expectations. Prada will be shown in 2009 by Sarah Neikirk in 2 year old Fillies, 2 yo Longeline, and 2 yo In-Hand Trail.

Bugsy is a quality show gelding that is finished and ready to go. He is honest and consistent in the show ring and what you get at home is what you get at the shows. He is a solid mover on a draped rein with a completely level top line and he is able to distinctly transition from english to western with collected and correct gaits. He has a chiseled head, sloping shoulder, strong top line, muscular hip, straight legs, and that gorgeous deep palomino color which has won him numerous titles in halter including the 2005 World Champion Medium Geldings. Bugsy is finished in showmanship, western, english, patterns, trail and has been patterned through the games. He hauls, clips, ties, loads, etc. and is currently fit and in show shape. Angel is a 2006 POA mare out of Zippos Fancee Surprise (POA) and by A Sudden Zippo (AQHA) who is by the million dollar sire A Sudden Impulse (AQHA). Angel has numerous full and half siblings such as Impulses Gold Assist (full brother) and Impulses Siri Gold Doll (half sister) who are currently showing and winning at the national level. Angel has a bright future with her looks, movement, personality, and bloodlines, and we are excited to have her here as part of our show string. Angel is owned by Lee Nylen and Sarah Neikirk and will be shown by Sarah Neikirk at all major shows in 2009 in JPFC HUS, Western Pleasure, and Trail as well as in 3 year old mares.

PN Performance Horses offers a variety of instruction and advertising for the youth and non-pro competitors. While equine advertising is our main focus, we also offer group and individual instruction as well as fitting, training, and showing for competitors in the areas of Showmanship, Halter, HUS, Equitation, Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, Reining, and Timed Events. Students of PN Performance Horses have excelled at the local, state, regional and national level and have gone on to become successful and competent riders and handlers.
